From their beginning to today, Siete Leguas has remained family owned and operated in Jalisco. They blend tequilas from their two distilleries: 'El Centenario' founded in 1952 and 'La Vencedora', considerd the 'modern' facility, founded in 1984. Both distilleries oversee a complete process - cooking, macerating, fermenting and distilling all onsite. The reposado is rich, with pastry and vanilla notes, but retains a strong agave core. Whereas the nose shows more oak, spice, and cedar notes, the palate finds its richness not in overt barrel character, but rich natural sweetness of cooked agave, with a hint of citrus peel and earthiness.
