Why Clean Your Probe? 🌿

Hydroponic nutrients and plant food additives are often acidic and can leave residue on probe surfaces over time. Regular cleaning prevents buildup that can cause slow, unstable, or inaccurate readings.

Cleaning your probes weekly—especially when using pH pens, EC meters, or combo meters daily—helps maintain reliable measurement and extends electrode lifespan.

Directions for Use 🧪

1. Prepare the Solution
   Pour enough AUSTRALIAN SCIENTIFIC Cleaning Solution into a clean container to fully submerge the electrode tip.

2. Soak the Electrode
   Place the probe in the solution and allow it to soak for 10–30 minutes to remove residue and nutrient buildup.

3. Rinse Thoroughly
   Remove the probe and rinse thoroughly using distilled, RO, or deionised water.

4. Recalibrate or Store
   After cleaning, recalibrate the meter if required or store the probe according to the manufacturer’s instructions.

5. Discard Used Solution
   Always discard the used solution. Do not return it to the bottle.
