Introducing the SHPRITZ Freerace Fin by Future Fly x Wind Lounge.

Designed by Future Fly x Wind Lounge Shpritz Fin has a clear mission: to take your freerace experience to the next level by making it easier for you to rail your board and making your jibes smoother. 

Technical features - Of course, the characteristics of the fin are the result of years of development. The fin was designed by Future Fly with the help of Z-Fins. The profile of the renowned World Cup fins has been softened to allow for more passive edging and easier jibes. To achieve this, the fin has been rounded towards the tip while maintaining a super-fast profile. The flex of the fin starts closer to the base and decreases towards the tip. The softer base provides a pleasant, balanced lift. In contrast to slalom fins, the lift takes effect even without intense pressure against the fin, but is not as strong. The fin is molded from high-quality carbon – both the fin and the fin head are made of carbon. 

Size recommendation - Since every setup is different, there are no clear size recommendations. It is best to ask the Wind Lounge team. To do so, please send a concise email (to [email protected]) your height, weight, board, volume, width, and the sails you use. If you have any particular problems, such as spin-outs, please mention these briefly. Otherwise, Shpritz fins behave like other fins when it comes to choosing the right size. 

Insider story – The fin was "discovered" as part of the White Tiger program in Rhodes. Here, Arnon Dagan and Mario Kümpel tested the fin, which was originally rather inconspicuous. Compared to high-end slalom fins, the fin did not offer the same top speed, but it came close. What was particularly noticeable was the ease with which the board could be put on edge and the smooth riding experience that was still maintained. While the slalom fins had to be controlled with muscle power and technique, the riding experience with the Shpritz fin was much more relaxed. The same was found with power jibes, which were easier to ride than with pure slalom fins. So the fin became part of the White Tiger Program and is now in series production.
