This extended length of the rod is meant to allow schools flexibility in accommodating taller students along with ergonomic advantages for students who need to sit further away from the station due to spacing requirements. The durable design is meant for trouble free use. The ball joint allows you to simulate rotation of the neck and it allows you to position in the typodont in a reclined position, going below parallel to the ground.

You can attach your typodont with a compatible articulator directly to the mount or you can attach an FRP head for added realism.

*Due to the longer design and added weight that this leverage creates we suggest that this mount not be used with the heavier DARWIN head or for practicing scaling and procedures where added pressure may be applied.

Operation is as simple as a half turn of the adjustment knob to loosen the ball joint and a half turn to tighten it.
