I love this piece! While not perfectly symmetrical (as is the nature of organic objects) this piece was inspired by art deco.

Two scallop shells (cast from the real thing!) radiate out like art deco sunbursts from a window of faceted mother of pearl. This stone in addition to its iridescent flashes, has been topped with quartz to provide additional wear and tear durability. The face is covered in light catching facets, and conjures images of mermaid scales or other glittering treasures of the ocean.

Handmade out of sterling silver, this ring is a size 8 and rests on the triple bands shown above.
