C.P. Company Asian Release Dutch Police jacket, believed to be from early to mid1980s. During 1980s, C.P. Company frequently created exclusive regional runs that never appeared in Europe, this jacket was specifically produced for Japanese market as they had a cult following there early on. Japan embraced C.P. before much of European did, Asian release collections often featured bolder patches / branding, more literal uniform reference & experimental fabrics. The jacket is inspired by European police / aviation uniform of 1940-60s, the shearling collar specifically was inspired by WW2 / post-war European police and flight jackets.
