What to Expect

• Set Your Intention

We begin every session by inviting you to set an intention—what do you want your soap to offer? Whether it’s a moment of calm, a deep cleanse, or a skin-softening treat, your intention guides your choices throughout the class.

• Choose Your Ingredients

Before we get to mixing, you’ll select all your add-ins:

• Exfoliants like oatmeal, salt, seeds, or botanicals

• Clays or muds for color and skin benefits

• Aromatic house blends or a previously used custom scent

• Botanicals for decorating and elevating your bars

• Learn the Cold Process Method

We’ll introduce you to the history of soap making and walk through the science behind saponification—the chemical reaction that turns oils and lye into solid soap. You’ll learn how to safely mix your water/lye solution with oils and butters, and how to recognize when your soap reaches the perfect trace.

• Make Your Soap

Once your blend is ready, it’s time to pour your soap into molds! You’ll add your chosen exfoliants, clays, botanicals, and scent to create a one-of-a-kind product. We’ll guide you step-by-step, and you’ll leave knowing exactly what went into your soap and why.

• Choose Your Batch Size

Each participant selects their batch size prior to class:

• 2 bars (4oz each) – $65

• 4 bars (4oz each) – $85

All soaps require 48-72 hours before unmolding and then 4 weeks to cure. You can now take them with you the same day and simply track their progress and use them once they’re ready!

Class Cancellations & Refunds

We understand that schedules can change. Our policy for Aromatherapy Classes held at our store location is as follows:

• Cancellations made within 24 hours of booking (unless the class takes place within that same 24-hour window) are eligible for a full refund.

• Cancellations made after 24 hours of booking will receive a gift card for the full price paid. Gift cards can be used to rebook a future class or applied toward products in-store or online.
