The oldest female violinist who passed away this year has left her complete recordings for Decca on a 6-CD setThe complete recordings made by Ida Haendel, the oldest female violinist who passed away in June of this year, for Decca are now available. The recordings range from her 1940 recording with fellow Polish pianist Adela Kotowska to the previously unreleased Vaughan Williams' "Fried Hibari" with the London Philharmonic Orchestra conducted by Sir Roger Norrington in 1997. Also included is a live performance from the 1982 Huberman Weeks Festival (Vivaldi, Sibelius).
