A nice "pin the tail on the donkey," one of the oldest running party games. No moral lessons here. It was introduced in the late nineteenth century, with many publishers producing their own versions, and is still being manufactured today. Originally printed with the tails lined along the right side, to be cut out before play. Directions printed on the cloth.
Copyright 1913, "W" (Whitman). Printed on oilcloth, 22.5 x 26.5 inches. A Good example only, with staining to one of the corners when folded, thus repeating when extended. With 17 of the original cut-out tails (2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 15, 18, 19, 21, 24), creased from being crumpled up and a few with original pins attached! Creasing from being folding, pinholes at the corners are around the rear from being played.
