Nestlé Peptamen 400g (For Children 10 Years and Above)

Nestlé Peptamen® is a nutritionally balanced, peptide based formula containing 100% whey which is easily absorbed for patients with impaired gastrointestinal function. Peptamen® is appropriate for those with fat malabsorption as it contains medium chain triglycerides. Suitable for use as sole source of nutrition or as a supplement via tube feeding or oral administration.

Directions For Use:

1. Wash hands. Follow the dosage table and select the volume to be prepared. 
2. Measure cooled boiled water and pour into a clean bowl or container. 
3. Scoop and level the desired amount of powder using the scoop in the tin or weigh by grams. Use only enclosed scoop. 
4. Add the powder to the water and immediately stir until well mixed. 
5. After use, store the scoop inside the can as shown.

Maltodextrin, enzymatically hydrolyzed whey protein, medium chain triglycerides (coconut oil, palm oil), sucrose, rapeseed oil, minerals (calcium citrate, magnesium chloride, disodium phosphate, potassium citrate, calcium phosphate, ferrous sulphate, magnesium oxide, zinc sulphate, manganese sulphate, copper sulphate, potassium iodide, sodium selenate, chromium trichloride, sodium molybdate), emulsifier (soy lecithin), choline bitartrate, vitamins (A, B1, B2, B5, B6, B12, C, D, E, K1, biotin, folic acid, nicotinamide), amino acids (taurine, L-carnitine), flavouring. 

*All additives are of plant or synthetic origin.

Storage: 

• All prepared products should be tightly covered and consumed within 4 hours at room temperature or within 24 hours if refrigerated. 
• store in a cool dry place and use within 4 weeks after opening. 

Warnings:

• Use under medical supervision.
• Not for intravenous use. 
• Only suitable from 10 year onwards. 
• When used for tube feeding, do not add drugs or other foods to the product. 
• Contains vitamin K. Individuals taking warfarin shall seek medical advice before consuming this product.
