Keiko Sato, who has mastered the traditional playing technique of the Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra, has been the concertmaster of the Shinsei Nippon Symphony Orchestra and the Tokyo Philharmonic Orchestra for 40 years. These were the words of Saburo Kurematsu, who was active in the forefront of orchestra management at the Shinsei Nippon Symphony Orchestra and the Tokyo Philharmonic Orchestra for many years, in his words for the flowers on the CD. While many violinists went to the United States to study violin, Sato studied at the Vienna National Academy of Music under Professor Riccardo ODNOPOZOFF (under Carl Flesch) and Professor Alfred STAHL (chamber music), who trained many players of the Vienna Philharmonic, and acquired the traditional playing technique of the Vienna Philharmonic. At that time in Japan, violinists who grew up in the Toho Gakuen School of Music and the Juilliard School were in high demand, and it was Mr. Kurematsu who highly valued the skills of Sato, who had studied in Vienna. Together, they have contributed greatly to the improvement of the quality of Japanese orchestras.Although his core activity has been as a concertmaster, Sato has also led quartets and developed his solo activities. The pieces selected for this CD are all pieces that Sato has become accustomed to over the years. The CD features her beautiful sound and songs that resonate throughout the hall, produced by her supple bowing. ＜Keiko Sato (violin) won the first prize in the high school division of the Mainichi Competition in western Japan while a music student at Horikawa High School in Kyoto Prefecture. After graduating from Tokyo University of the Arts, she entered the Vienna State Academy of Music (now the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna). During his studies, he performed as a soloist at the Vienna Festival and won a prize at the International Haydn Quartet Competition in Eisenstadt. He graduated from the Academy with a unanimous vote of the entire jury for the highest prize. Since 2007, he has presided over the "Quartet Familiarization Group" 53 times. She studied with Yuji Togi, Tatsuo Usatsuka, Toyoko Hattori, Riccardo Odnoposov under Carl Flesch in Vienna, and chamber music with Alfred Stahl (who trained many of the members who joined the Vienna Philharmonic).
