An amazing bottling by French bottler Le Gus't. The single malt comes from a renowned undisclosed Speyside distillery, possibly from the Ma**llan distillery, as per the hint on the label.

It was matured in a single sherry butt #15A/105 for 30 years! It was bottled at natural cask strength of 53.7%.

Tasting note:

Nose has plenty of bubblegum, varnish, candy, puffs of smoke (oddly enough), marmalade. Palate is syrupy, with stewed fruits, marmalade, chocolate, cherries. Chewy and long, a bit of brandy character. Absolutely fantastic drop, and if it really is Ma**llan, what an amazing value too !!!! A cask strength sherry cask matured Ma**llan for this price is a steal!
