With the non-rebound SUPERCRAFT soft-face mallet with head diameter 1.57" (40mm) diameter (art. 3366.040), the impact energy is optimally utilized due to the reduced rebound. This allows very powerful but at the same time joint-gentle and noise-dampening strikes. The danger of metal splinters is completely eliminated. The replaceable inserts offer outstanding impact qualities and are guaranteed to combine maximum strength with unique durability. The ergonomically shaped, varnished and ultra stable hickory handle has a vibration-dampening effect. 1.57" Dia / 16oz

The BASEPLEX soft-face mallet 1.18" (30mm) diameter (art. 3968.030) is one size smaller than the SUPERCRAFT soft-face mallet. It contains the insert combination of cellulose acetate / nylon. The red cellulose acetate insert is both hard and oil and grease resistant. The white nylon insert is even slightly harder than the red one and also wear-resistant. Made of high-quality zinc die-cast, the body comes with an overstrike protector and a technically advanced holder for the inserts. The wooden handle is ergonomic and varnished. The inserts and the handle are replaceable. 1.18" Dia / 13oz
