Simpson Strong-Tie CB Column bases are a sturdy cast-in place anchor that are designed for heavy duty column loads. The Strong-Tie CB46W features a standard Gray Painted coating for added corrosion resistance. Some products are available in HDG, stainless steel or black powder coat upon request.

• Use all specified fasteners.
• For full loads, minimum side cover required is 3" for CB, 2" for LCB.
• Install all models with bottom of base plate flush with concrete.
• Post bases do not provide adequate resistance to prevent members from rotating about the base and therefore are not recommended for non top-supported installations (such as fences or unbraced carports).

NOTE: The correct fasteners installed in the correct position must be used to achieve published load values
