Kaftan No.76Pippa Holt grew up on the beaches of Australia and was inspired by her grandmother's tropical style of tropical dressing. Hand woven on a backstrap loom by Mexican artisans, this ankle skimming kaftan in bold red and white elongates the frame. The weavers sometimes finish their weaving with a fringed hem, which they call fleco giving this style a true artisanal but modern feel. Each kaftan takes over one month to make on the back strap loom.
