Sheet  47, Old Series 1". 1881. Hertfordshire, Cambridgeshire, Essex: Hertford, Sudbury. Topography date omitted, geology revised to 1881,  no issue or colouring date. Hand-coloured engraving, 68.5 x 101cm, flat, old folds. Stencilled sheet number in lower right corner. Marginal  tears long base neatly repaired with archival tape. Stanford’s issue stamp on back. A curiosity of this sheet is that it was designed to displayed with sheets to the east, southeast and south and therefore the borders on the east and south sides were omitted. Slightly soiled, colours bright. In good condition.
