Assembly is straightforward thanks to pre-cut and pre-drilled parts. You'll need a Phillips screwdriver (not included). All hardware is included. The arbor is designed for two-person assembly — one to hold pieces and one to drive screws. Most people complete assembly in 45–60 minutes.

For maximum longevity, we strongly recommend applying an outdoor wood sealant or stain after assembly, and reapplying every 1-2 years. This will protect against moisture, UV rays, and prevent warping or rotting. The wood is sanded smooth to prevent splinters.

Clean with a soft cloth and mild soap as needed. To preserve the natural wood color and protect against weather, apply an exterior wood stain or sealant annually. The sanded surface accepts stain easily. Regular maintenance will keep your arbor beautiful for many seasons.
