This lawrenceana can carry up to 16 flowers - that’s a lot of flowers! As with all lawrenceana the flower shape is poor, with floppy petals, and the most attractive part of the flower is the tubular dark purple lip. This cultivar of aurantiaca is a tetraploid, and the flowers are fuller and have heavier substance than diploid forms. The offspring mostly will be triploids. Plants will grow well and be very floriferous. These will resemble C. Guatemalensis (C. aurantiaca x C. skinneri) but with more flowers and a tubular lip
