The EXFO FTB-5700 is a high-performance Single-Ended Dispersion Analyzer designed for advanced Chromatic Dispersion (CD) and Polarization Mode Dispersion (PMD) characterization in metro, long-haul, core, and high-speed optical transport networks. The system enables single-ended testing from one location, minimizing setup time and reducing operational overhead associated with dual-ended testing methods.
The FTB-5700 delivers fast and automated CD/PMD measurements with an intuitive user interface and one-step test setup. Designed for qualification of high-speed fiber links, the analyzer is ideal for validating network performance in 10G, 40G, 100G, and beyond applications.
Installed in the rugged EXFO FTB-200-S1-VPM2X modular platform, this configuration also includes an integrated PM-202X high-power optical power meter and built-in Visual Fault Locator (VFL) for immediate field troubleshooting and optical verification. Also included is the EXFO FIP-400 Video Inspection Probe with 200x/400x magnification for connector endface inspection and image capture documentation.
