The long-awaited analog release of the '09 masterpiece by the band that laid the foundation of the thriving Israeli indie scene! Radio Trip was formed by Mix Monster and School Master, two members of Israel's leading jazz-funk band, Apples. Jazz, funk, hip-hop, as well as traditional Middle Eastern music, blues, and Turkish psychedelic music are cut and pasted in the idiom of turntablism, sampling, and music concrete. As the band's name implies, their style is still fresh more than 10 years after the original, with diversity, free thinking, and a solid groove, like a long-set mix released on Tel Aviv's Internet radio. At the time, it was mainly released on the CD market (and moreover, illegal downloads were prevalent) and never on vinyl, but it is now being released for the first time on vinyl as a milestone in the current Israeli indie scene centered in Tel Aviv.
