Perfectly intelligible and neutral voice reproduction is the top priority with the VT506 and is made possible by the high-end capsule used. The microphone is also ideally suited for wearing under clothing and has therefore been established in the film production sector for many years. The VT506 capsule has a slight frequency boost at 10KHz.

The VT506WA is also waterproof according to IPX-7 (1m under water for 30 minutes) and has a particularly resistant cable, which makes it ideal for use in wet and harsh environments. Despite these features, the VT506WA sounds the same as the normal VT506.

Thanks to injection moulding, the microphone is extremely robust and shock-resistant. The cable is moulded directly into the capsule housing, which makes it virtually impossible to pull out.

The RF-protected microphone capsule prevents interference from RF signals and the particularly flexible connection cable ensures that handling noise is eliminated.

The VT506WA  is available with various plugs for connection to the most common wireless systems & recorders.
