• The steel casing is protected with a high-quality multilayer aluminum and zinc alloy finish to resist corrosion. It includes a safety switch that turns off the ventilator when the service panel is opened. Service access is available from both the left and right sides.
• The heat recovery core features a unique aluminum plate heat exchanger designed for high-efficiency heat transfer. A stainless steel drain pan is installed on both the inlet and outlet sides.
• The unit includes supply and exhaust centrifugal fans with backward curved blades. These fans have built-in thermal protection that automatically restarts after overheating. Both the motors and impellers are dynamically balanced.
• The defrost system uses a fan stop method, which activates when the outdoor temperature drops below 23°F (–5°C).
• Washable MERV 6 air filters are included in both the exhaust and supply air streams.
• An integrated automation and control system is built into the unit, offering several features such as operation mode switching, independent speed adjustment for airflow balancing, automatic frost protection for the recovery core, and external device connectivity.
