The long-awaited third album from the Irish folk-rock band The Villagers, led by Irishman Conor J. O'Brian, who has been building a solid reputation since their 2010 album debut. Their debut album won the Ivor Novello Award at the UK Music Awards and debuted at #1 in the UK Indie and Irish charts. In 2013, they made their first appearance in Japan at the Hostess Club Weekender, followed by an appearance at the Kyoto Music Expo organized by Kururi. Their emotional performance left a strong impression on music fans here in Japan. This album is a change of pace from the previous album, which drew a great deal of attention for its bold introduction of electronics, and returns to its roots with a sound centered on acoustic guitars and vocals. The album was performed, recorded, produced, and mixed by Conor himself at his home studio in Dublin.A moving masterpiece is born, containing nine songs about love and human connection, and expressing these emotions more straightforwardly than ever before!
