Description:
Jazz, rockabilly, grunge, house... South London's sonic melting pot explodes with brilliance. The Goat Girl's long-awaited latest work is here. Goat Girl, a four-piece band from South London's Avenue Windmill, which has produced a string of exciting bands such as Shame, Idols, Sawrey, and Black Country New Road, has released its long-awaited second album "On All Fours"! The album was produced in early 2020 by Dan Carey, who is well-known for his work with Franz Ferdinand, and who has recently been involved with a number of up-and-coming bands of the new generation, including Black Midi, Squid, and Fonteynes D.C., and whose skills are once again being used as a compass for the scene. This work was produced in early 2020.The band's first single, "Sad Cowboy," retains the psychedelic, bluesy, DIY charm of the group praised by post-punk priest Mark E. Smith, while adding the euphoric synth sounds of house and techno, and "The Crack," with its 4/4 beat, grungy, subversive guitar riffs, sci-fi keyboards, and immersive arrangements, is the first single to be released. The Crack," with its immersive arrangement that makes use of keys and pauses, is one of the 13 songs on the album that, in addition to the bewitching aroma and lyricism of the past, have acquired a new, dynamic and contrasting musical language on this album. The Cracks" is a new album that is a masterpiece of the UK indie scene, which is swirling with a variety of music from jazz to punk, but this new album stands out from the crowd with a more polished individuality. In addition to the standard analog version, a limited-quantity pink clear vinyl version will be released at the same time. The Seshen, a next generation future soul collective based in the San Francisco Bay Area, has released their first album in four years, "Cyan", from TruThoughts, a label that continues to produce quality, borderless soul and R&B acts such as Moonchild, Pieces of a Man, Bryony Jarman-Pinto, Ego Ella May, and many more. The Seshen, a future soul collective based in the San Francisco Bay Area, has released their latest album "Cyan", their first in four years! The Seshen's floating future soul sound is expressed in the opener "Take It All Away," a song that drives with the vocals of band icon Lalin St. Juste, who has also been quoted by Erykah Badu, as a reaffirmation of their identity in an uncertain global climate. The theme of this album is the reaffirmation of one's identity in an uncertain world. The album features 12 tracks with unique production and a flexible connection from indie rock to R&B, including the preceding single "Dive," a paranoiac electro-pop track led by producer Akiyoshi Ehara's unique bass line, "Close Your Eyes," a languid low house R&B track, and "Stones," a soothing verse that sways over a complex rhythm pattern.
