After Mike Vesela left the band, Masaki Yamada (EZO/FLATBACKER) was brought in as an official member and the third phase of the band started. LOUDNESS", self-produced by Akira Takasaki, and using the band's name as the album title, this confident album was clearly different from previous albums, with a hard and aggressive sound that pursued a modern heaviness, and the album cover by Tadanori Yokoo was also a topic of conversation. The album was also well received by the public, reaching No. 2 on the Oricon charts, and the band's two-stop tour of Japan, dubbed the "second golden age," was also very well received. This album will be released in 2022 to commemorate the 30th anniversary of its release, and is the first analog reissue from the original analog multi-tape, with a brushed-up sound by Jacob Hansen, one of the world's top producers/engineers.
