Rico Friebe is a singer/songwriter/producer based in Kiel, a city in northern Germany facing the Baltic Sea, and has been active since the 2000s mainly in the field of dance music, skillfully using several different names such as Rico Puestel and Odd Hands, and releasing music on techno master Sven Vath's label "Cocoon". He is actually a veteran artist with releases on techno master Sven Vath's Cocoon label. This is his first uta-mono album, featuring guitar, piano, and his own songs. Starting with the singles "Leave And Go" and "This Day," all the songs have a few notes, and the songs and melodies stand out and are filled with a tenderness that makes you feel as if you are leaning closer to the music.The folky acoustic guitar arpeggios and sentimental harmonies are somewhat reminiscent of Kings of Convenience.
