Many food service operators will make changes to their equipment line up and in doing so many locate a fryer next to a range with an open flame burner. That is when the side splash applies. Fire codes call for a separation between a Fryer and an Open Flame and sometimes this cannot be achieved. The Fryer Splash Guard creates the needed separation by sliding it onto the fryer side (left or right) with its two wedge clips located on both ends. The side splash can be taken off for cleaning as well.
