Solo" series by Klangforum Wien! A collection of works by British contemporary composer Rebecca Saunders (1967-) from "Solo," a series of recordings of works for solo performance made by Klangforum Wien in response to the Covid-19 pandemic in 2020. The works are performed by Rebecca Saunders (1967-). Sanders, who studied with Nigel Osborne and Wolfgang Rihm, is also known as the first female composer to win the Siemens Music Prize (2019). She says that solo music is an important part of her creative process, at least during the preparation period, as the composer's solitude transforms into a dialogue with the soloist that calls for close collaboration. Everything is already here. I simply provide the frame and the context. The world is saturated with noise.
