2007.5-2018 Cummins 6.7L 68RFE Valve Body DIY Kit (OCD-68RFE-DIY)

One of the weak points in the 68RFE transmission is the valve body, with its cast aluminum upper and lower halves and a steel separator plate sandwiched between the two, there is chances of cross leakage from channel to channel internally as the valve body flexes with the powertrain loaded up, especially towing. Increased line pressure with aftermarket tuning, towing heavy loads causing case flexing and or transmission temps spiking while towing can all accentuate warpage and leaks. When this happens certain clutch packs can be semi-engaged causing heat/friction and premature failure of the clutch pack. Other issues would be loss of pressure to the current applied clutch packs yet again causing friction, heat and slippage.

This kit comes complete with our Billet Aluminum channel plate which will help with flex, Bonded separator plate, Billet Aluminum Accumulators, Sonnax accumulator side plate with extra fasteners, and new fasteners to bolt it all together. New Chrysler solenoid packs available for purchase to ensure your new valve body assembly is complete and ready to bolt back into the truck. Must specify early 7 ball vs late 5 ball and grey vs white solenoid pack connectors when ordering. Add on a BD Diesel Cast Aluminum pan to add rigidity to the transmissions case compared to the thin stock stamped steel pan and make it easier to perform servicing with an actual drain plug!  

2007.5-2010 trucks use white solenoid connector with 7 ball separator plates

2011-2018 trucks use grey solenoid connector with 5 ball separator plates

White solenoid connectors can be used from 2007.5-2018 but grey cannot be used in 2007.5-2010 due to the OD solenoids being removed on the grey connectors.
