In February 1981, the band released their sixth album, "I Surrender," and began their first world tour in many years. The Boston concert on May 7 was recorded and broadcast for the popular American radio music program "King Biscuit Flower Hour," but was not released as an album. The set list for the concert was 13 songs including medleys and encores, so this live album is a complete recording of the concert. This is a long-awaited album for Rainbow fans, as the band's groove is top-notch as well as the audience's, since they are touring with the most successful album in the U.S. in Rainbow's history.
