The debut album by the British psychedelic/progressive band Daddy Long Legs is now available on CD in paper jacket! (Original release: 1970/Warner Bros.)This is the debut album of the four-piece American Rural Rock band that came to England at the end of 1969. Their sound, a mixture of blues, country, and folk rock through the psychedelic filter of the era, was unique among the British country rock movement of the time, which was under the influence of The Byrds, Buffalo Springfield, and The Band. The band's first album, "The Birds", was released in 1966. Guitarist Steve Hayton, who left the band after this, left the band to join Daylight, a hidden gem of English folk rock, and recorded one album with the band.
