The Exidor 9870 overhead electromagnetic closers are dual purpose and can be fitted as either in hold open or free swing mode. They are highly efficient units suitable for use where low opening forces are required. They have a contemporary style, delivering an effective and aesthetic solution to door closing.

Designed to either hold the door open or, in swing free mode, allowing the door to be opened with no resistance from the closer. However, when the buildings fire alarm is activated, power is cut to the unit and the closer then shuts the door.

The Exidor 9000 Series of E-mag door closers are supplied with an adaptor which allows easy conversion from hold open to swing free mode.utilising the unique high efficiency cam and roller action, and both have a plug in power loop for ease of fitting. Longer power loops are available as an optional extra. All Exidor 9870 closers offer universal fitting and are supplied with brackets for fig 1, fig 61 and fig 66 fixing.

The combination of materials, construction and design innovation of the cam and roller mechanism give outstanding results in use. The 9870 closer range is CE marked for Safety meeting European standards, is approved by Certifire to BS EN 1634-1 and meets British Standard BS EN 1155.
