The Hitachi DVDCAM DZ-GX3200A is a camcorder that shoots DV-resolution video on special DVD-R, DVD+R, DVD-RAM, and DVD-RW discs, many (but not all) of which you can play in your tray-loading DVD machine once you've finalized them. Yes, the early 2000s were a complex time to buy a camcorder. But hey, this records video in 16:9, and you can take 2mp stills on an SD card, so that's something!
