Viña Ardanza Reserva 2015 is a superb modern release, combining depth, freshness and balance. Predominantly Tempranillo with a touch of Garnacha, it shows expressive red and dark berry fruit, cedar, vanilla and gentle spice. Supple, savoury and beautifully composed, it is drinking very well now yet has the structure to develop confidently over the next decade.  A benchmark Ardanza and excellent value Rioja.

La Rioja Alta remains the benchmark for traditional Rioja, renowned for its finesse, savoury complexity and remarkable ability to age effortlessly for decades. Released only after extended maturation at the bodega, their wines offer all the polish and nuance of fully developed Rioja at very reasonable prices.  Classically styled, consistently excellent and fine additions to any cellar.
