Complete in two volumes (not the abridged school edition). A nice copy of one of the most popular works of American philosophy during the period, traces of gilt tooling on the board edges and faded marbling to the textblock. Taliaferro, (1915) and Vere Claiborne Chappell, a philosopher and scholar who specialized in early modern philosophy (1960).
