Description:

Chevy Sabah, a very popular Indian/Belly Dance act, returns to Indian/Pakistani music after a long absence. Here comes a full-fledged Asian massive featuring works by Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan and others! Chevy Sabbah is a popular DJ/producer born in Algeria. This is the follow-up to his masterpiece "La Kehena," which featured music from the Maghreb in North Africa. This time, he has taken up the same Indian music as his 2002 smash hit "Krishna Lila," but this time he has taken up the multi-layered music that is prevalent throughout South India. The core of this work is authentic performance, featuring classical singing and folk instruments such as tabla, sitar, pansuri, sarangi, etc. Guitars and synths are also involved, creating a dub and trance-like atmosphere. Kash Kalay plays guitar, and the programming and engineering is done by Gaurav Raina of Midival Pandits. Vocals are provided by Riffat Sultana, daughter of the late Pakistani maestro Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan, as well as Anup, Jalota, and Rana Singh.
