Marcala is a municipality in Southwestern Honduras, near La Paz. The land is known particularly for its exceptional coffee, which has exceeded its reputation throughout the national and international coffee market. The cup has a medium acidity with strong citrus notes of orange and mild lemon. Underneath lies cocoa, chocolate and creamy caramel notes that are perfectly accented in a full medium roast. Made in a press it has a richer fuller body and represents a fine example of Honduran coffee. It does not overpower the cup but neither does it disappoint
