The iconic Drop Chair was designed by the Danish designer and architect Arne Jacobsen in 1958. It was originally made for the five-star SAS Royal hotel in Copenhagen, and the first edition included only 150 pieces. After more than 50 years in hibernation, Fritz Hansen relaunched the chair in 2014, after new production methods enabled its production for the general market.

An excellent example of Danish mid-century design, the Drop fits perfectly into a wide variety of settings, including home and public spaces.
