The Sashmate Top Hung Drop Set Fitting Tool can be used to independently support each side of the sash when fitting a top hung window sash in rare circumstances where the horizontal bracing arms of the Sashmate® Top Hung do not lower sufficiently enough to go under the bottom of the sash when the sash has been opened to its maximum. This situation can occur because incorrect hardware was used to install the window, such as the wrong type or position of friction stays. It can also be caused by twisted or collapsed friction stays, which will cause one side of the window to hang lower than the other. This product is an accessory to the Sashmate Window Removal tool (L18701 & L18702).
