This is the third album by the Cactus Blossoms, a sibling duo nicknamed the modern-day Everly Brothers. Raised in northeast Minneapolis, brothers Jack Torrey and Paige Barkham debuted as a duo in 2010. With the brothers' signature breathy harmonies, they are a talented duo that delivers Americana music with a country and western swing edge. This album, like their 2019 masterpiece EASY WAY, was engineered by Alex Hall. It was recorded in a basement with an at-home finish by bringing the band to Minneapolis, where they live. If you like harmony and country, you'll love this duo, and the roots-rockin' NRBQ and Dave Edmunds-esque tunes are great, too. If you haven't heard them before, give them a try.
