The RRS-BT-M1 (1/4X20tpi Mount) is the most popular and commonly purchased binocular mount we sell.  This mount works with most binoculars manufactured in the Pacific Rim countries (Japan, Philippines, China), which have standardized on the front-hinge 1/4X20tpi female thread for the attaching binos to tripods.  European binos that have followed this standard include Minox, newer Zeiss, and Swarovski-SLCs. Verify that you bino accepts this mount before ordering. The RRS-BT-M1 stays semi-permanently attached to the front hinge of your bino. It's small profile does not interfere with your fingers when placed between the objective bells of your binos.
