How to Use Water TechniX Stabilised Pool Chlorine:

1. Directions: Dissolve granules in a bucket of water before adding to the pool, or add directly with the pump running. Dose in the evening when the pool is not in use. Maintain free chlorine levels of 2–3 mg/L and pH between 7.2–7.6. Do not use in indoor pools or commercial spas, and do not exceed 100 mg/L of stabiliser. If stabiliser levels are too high, switch to an unstabilised chlorine product.

2. Determine the Required Dose: 

   Dosage Guide:

   • Daily: 10–25g per 10,000L

   • Shock: 100–170g per 10,000L
     
     Ideal Levels:

   • pH: 7.2–7.6

   • Alkalinity: 80–200 ppm

   • Chlorine: Min. 1–3 ppm (cold vs warm water)

   • Stabiliser: 30–100 ppm

    Not for indoor pools or commercial spas.

3. Add the Chlorine: Dissolve the calculated amount in a bucket of water before adding it to the pool. This helps avoid undissolved granules settling on the pool floor.

4. Circulate the Water: Run the pool pump and filter for at least 4-6 hours to ensure even distribution of chlorine throughout the pool.

5. Retest the Water: After circulating the water, retest the chlorine levels to ensure they are within the desired range. If needed, adjust the dosage.

6. Regular Maintenance: Add stabilised pool chlorine weekly or as required, based on pool usage and environmental conditions, to maintain consistent chlorine levels.

⚠️ For fibreglass or vinyl pools: Always dissolve in a bucket first, then pour the mixture directly above the pool returns while the pump is running. Never add undissolved product to fibreglass or vinyl pools to prevent surface damage.
