The Problem: The 6.7L Cummins engine suffers from a flaw in the electrical connection to the intake grid heater. When powering the heater, 200 amps pass through a small bolt and nut inside the intake. Over time, this connection deteriorates, arcs, and eventually breaks off. Important Fitment & Installation Notes

2007-2012 Applications: Installation on these model years requires a minor modification. You will need to use a Dremel or hacksaw to remove a small aluminum tab on the grid heater. Please refer to the included installation manual for detailed instructions.
