These beautiful cushions are a cross-cultural collaboration combining Aboriginal art designs and Kashmiri handicrafts.

Chain Stitch is a traditional Kashmiri handicraft and important to the local economy. This work is produced in remote villages and provides an important supplementary income between harvests. Wool is dyed in situ and groups of people gather in family homes with friends to do the work. Finished works are washed in nearby streams. The stitching is done by hand using an "aari' a sharp hooked tool similar to a crochet hook.

This painting shows the Ngarindjerri Country. The Red Line is the river that was made by the big Murray Cod Pondi and Nununderi back in the dreaming time. The pair made all of the land formations along the river, across the Cooraong all the way to Kangaroo Island
