HeaterSTOP HS-230-3A is a hall heating controller that limits how long a heating-on signal can remain active.
It helps prevent community halls and similar buildings from being heated continuously when a timeswitch or thermostat is accidentally left in manual/on mode.
Best for:
HeaterSTOP is wired in line with the timer or thermostat output signal. You set the maximum allowable duration for a heating-on signal, for example 7 hours.
When the signal stays on longer than the set period, HeaterSTOP stops the signal. It resets automatically when the heating signal is removed.
If a timeswitch has been left in manual/on mode and HeaterSTOP has timed out, turning the timeswitch off briefly resets HeaterSTOP and allows another maximum period.
