Killing Joke is a British band that represents industrial rock. Recorded at Faust's studio, their 2006 album "Hosannas From The Basements of Hell" is now available in a deluxe edition with three additional tracks.Killing Joke released their darkest album in 16 years, "Hosannas From The Basements of Hell" in a deluxe version. In addition to the nine songs from the original album, the album includes three songs, "Afterburner," "Afterburner (alternative version)," and "Universe B." All are considered to be among the best and most powerful songs in Killing Joke's history. Hosannas From The Basements of Hell was recorded in Richard "Faust" Mader's Studio Faust Records' darkest basement studio, Hell, in Prague, Czech Republic.The album was engineered by Jerry Kandiah, who also worked on the previous album, and mixed by Mark Lusardi. The band used a lot of vintage recording equipment from Faust's late 1970s era to create the atmosphere of the album. The planned three-month session was extended considerably.
