A Rare Artifact of Coastal Craftsmanship This one-of-a-kind tote is a masterclass in maritime heritage and sustainable design. It was born from a limited-edition collaboration between the legendary, now-defunct Rogue Gallery (founded by Alex Carleton) and the iconic Portland-based Sea Bags. Because Rogue Gallery has since closed its doors, this bag is a rare, non-reproducible piece of Portland, Maine’s fashion history.
Antique Maritime Wool: Meticulously reconstructed from an authentic vintage U.S. Navy blanket. The heavy-gauge wool features the classic navy blue stripe and bold, "U.S. NAVY" embroidery.
Authentic Weathering: True to its history, the wool retains original holes and signs of wear from the blanket's previous life in service. These characteristics are preserved intentionally to highlight the textile's age and unique story.
Marine-Grade Hardware: Outfitted with spliced black nautical rope handles, handcrafted using traditional rigging techniques to ensure lifelong durability.
The Collaboration: Designed by Rogue Gallery and manufactured by Sea Bags on the historic Custom House Wharf in Portland, Maine.
Origin: Handcrafted in Portland, Maine, USA.
Makers: Rogue Gallery x Sea Bags (Limited Edition / Out of Production).
Material: 100% Recycled Antique Navy Wool / Nautical Grade Rope.
Condition: Excellent upcycled condition; features genuine vintage patina and original blanket holes for a rugged, lived-in aesthetic.
