Alan Holdsworth is one of the few musicians and guitarists who have reached such a level of "maestro. However, his sudden death in April 2017 saddened fans around the world... Here comes the fifth volume of the Alan Holdsworth Live Archives Series! This CD+DVD release features a performance by the Alan Holdsworth Trio at an open studio show in Leverkusen, Germany in November 2010 as part of a (German) WDR TV/Radio special. The trio was backed by Ernest Tibbs (b) and Chad Wackerman (ds), who were Alan Holdsworth's regular rhythm section during this period of his public studio live appearances.The set list includes 10 songs from the previous year's "Blues for Tony" as well as songs that have never been recorded on an album, and the performance is recorded in its entirety.
