This is Torriden's signature product, and the reason the brand broke globally in 2022. The DIVE-IN toner uses five different molecular weights of hyaluronic acid, with particular emphasis on the low-molecular-weight fraction (around 50 kDa), which penetrates the stratum corneum rather than sitting on the surface. Most "hyaluronic acid toners" use only high-molecular-weight HA because it's cheaper. Torriden's multi-weight approach is what makes the texture and results distinctly different. At $35.53 for 200ml, this is premium but accessible pricing.
Torriden positions this as a "skin booster" because the format is closer to an essence than a traditional toner. The texture is thicker than watery, but lighter than serum. It's designed to be layered (the 7-skin method works beautifully with this) and to deliver noticeable plumping within 10 to 14 days of consistent use. If you've only tried one K-beauty hydration toner, this is the correct starting point.
Five molecular weights of hyaluronic acid hydrate at different skin depths. The lowest-weight HA reaches the viable epidermis; the higher weights form a cushioning moisture film on the surface. Panthenol and allantoin support barrier function. The pH is skin-matched, and the formula is free of alcohol, fragrance, and essential oils, making it one of the safest hydration toners for sensitive and post-procedure skin. Over 2 to 3 weeks of use, visibly plumped skin and softened fine dehydration lines.
Dispense 4 to 6 drops into palms after cleansing. Press onto face and neck, patting until absorbed (20 to 30 seconds). For the 7-skin method, layer up to seven times with 20-second intervals. Follow with serum and moisturizer. Use AM and PM. Safe with any active (retinol, vitamin C, acids) applied after.
Hyaluronic acid molecules come in different sizes, measured in daltons or kilodaltons. Standard HA is high-molecular-weight (often 1000+ kDa), which is too large to penetrate skin. Low-molecular-weight HA (around 50 kDa or lower) is small enough to pass through the stratum corneum and hydrate deeper layers. Torriden uses both, which is what "multi-weight" refers to.
Isntree is a close competitor, also multi-weight HA. Torriden's texture is slightly richer, the formulation includes more supporting actives (allantoin, panthenol at higher concentration). For strict hydration purity: Isntree. For hydration plus barrier support: Torriden. They're both genuinely good products.
No. This is a hydration layer, not a moisture-locking layer. Hyaluronic acid pulls water into skin but doesn't seal it there. Always follow with a cream or oil to lock the hydration in, especially in dry climates or winter.
Rarely. The texture absorbs cleanly. If you experience pilling, apply less (3 drops instead of 6), wait longer before the next layer (30 to 45 seconds), or reduce the layering to 3 or 4 passes max.
200ml lasts approximately 2 to 3 months with 7-skin use. If you do a single-pass application, expect 4 to 5 months. Torriden sells a 200ml refill for repeat customers at discount pricing through some retailers.
