Dropped behind enemy lines on D-Day, the 507th Parachute Infantry Regiment fought with grit, humor, and a little chaos. Led by the legendary Col. Edson Raff—the “Paratrooper’s Paratrooper”—they called themselves Raff’s Ruffians, a name that stuck through Normandy, the Bulge, and across the Rhine.
This retro-style Liberty Maniacs tee honors those rough-edged warriors with a historically accurate reproduction of their iconic spider insignia. Designed in the spirit of 1940s barracks art, it looks like something a paratrooper might’ve worn in a French café after surviving the drop.
Backstory
The 507th were part of the 82nd Airborne’s D-Day drops. Scattered across Normandy, they fought as small groups for days, earning a reputation for fearless improvisation and dark humor. They were, quite literally, Raff’s Ruffians.
